Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Dubai hosts more international trade shows than any other Gulf city. GITEX Global, Gulfood, Arab Health, Big 5 Global, Arabian Travel Market and Beautyworld Middle East all run here, and most exhibitors compete for attention in halls where the stand next door is also well funded. An exhibition stand contractor in Dubai has to get the design right and clear organizer approval on time, or the build week turns difficult.

Overview

We work as exhibition stand builders in Dubai and as exhibition stand contractors for companies based in the UAE and abroad. Our team has built stands in the city for 8+ years, for shows at Dubai World Trade Centre and Expo City Dubai. Design, fabrication, graphics, freight and installation sit with one project lead, so you approve a 3D concept and we carry it through to handover on the show floor.

Exhibitors find us through searches for exhibition stand builders in Dubai, exhibition stand contractors in Dubai, stand builders in Dubai and booth contractors in Dubai. The scope is the same in each case. We plan the stand to your plot size and open sides, prepare the drawings DWTC or Expo City ask for, build and pre-fit before delivery, then install inside the official move-in window and dismantle after the show.

If you also show in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or outside the UAE, we plan that with the Dubai build. Many clients reuse frames, graphics and furniture between Dubai, Riyadh and Doha. We check plot compatibility before you commit, and we quote storage between shows as a separate line.

Most large Dubai shows fall between October and April. During those months every capable workshop in the city is booked, delivery slots at DWTC tighten, and organizers hold approval deadlines firm. A custom exhibition stand in Dubai up to 50 sqm needs six to eight weeks from a complete brief. Large island stands need eight to twelve. Double-decker stands need twelve to sixteen because structural approval runs in sequence with the standard drawing review.

Our Dubai projects start from the organizer manual for the specific show. We list the contractor registration date, the drawing submission date and the electrical order date in the first week. Fabrication runs in parallel with approval follow-up. Pre-fitting in the workshop matters here. A stand that has been assembled once before loading spends less time on hall assembly, which is what saves a move-in slot when the hall is crowded.

Exhibition stand construction in Dubai covers joinery, metalwork, painting, graphics and electrical in one program. We check finishes and wiring against the approved 3D before crates leave. What you signed off on screen is what arrives at the hall.

Venues

01

Dubai World Trade Centre

The busiest halls in the region. Contractor registration, structural drawings and the electrical order each carry a fixed deadline, usually four to six weeks before opening. Miss one and hall access on move-in day slips.

02

Expo City Dubai

Newer halls with their own contractor procedures and access rules. Transport timing and technical sign-off differ from DWTC, so we confirm the manual for the specific event before finalizing the production plan.

03

Other Dubai venues

Seasonal sites and hotel exhibition areas suit product launches and pavilions. Structure, weather exposure and operating days need a separate check before we price the build.

Planning

01

Peak season runs autumn to spring

GITEX, Gulfood and Big 5 season fills workshops and crews across the city. Start drawings as soon as the organizer releases the floor plan.

02

Approval dates are fixed

DWTC and Expo City set closing dates for contractor details, drawings and power orders. We track all three from day one.

03

Bilingual graphics and hospitality

Arabic and English panels, a meeting area and a clear product display come up in almost every Dubai brief. We build them into the first concept.

04

Double decks need extra weeks

A second floor needs structural drawings and a separate organizer sign-off on top of the standard review. Flag it at the brief stage.

05

Reuse across the Gulf

Frames built for a Dubai island plot often travel to Riyadh or Doha. We design joints and graphic sizes with that second use in mind.

Good to know

Custom stands suit launches, large plots and brands that need a distinct layout. Most custom builds we deliver in Dubai run from 18 sqm booths to island stands above 100 sqm, with meeting rooms, hospitality counters, product displays and LED walls placed to the visitor flow. As exhibition stand manufacturers for our own builds, we produce structures, counters, display units and branded graphics to the approved drawings.

Modular stands and exhibition booth rental suit first-time exhibitors and teams testing the Dubai market. The frames already exist, so planning is shorter and cost per show is lower. Graphics, counters and screens change per event while the structure stays. Shell scheme upgrades fall in this group. Three to four weeks is often enough when the brief is complete.

Double-decker stands add a meeting level above the show floor. They work at DWTC and Expo City where the organizer permits height, but feasibility depends on plot size, hall position and structural rules. Island stands open on four sides need the opposite discipline. Visibility is high, so entrances, storage and staff movement have to be planned so the space reads open from every aisle.

Good to know

Managing designers, fabricators, graphic printers, AV suppliers, furniture vendors and installers separately creates gaps. Drawings change and one supplier misses the update. We keep exhibition stand suppliers for the project under one scope. The same team that approves the 3D orders the prints, books the LED wall and schedules the crew.

Exhibition booth design companies in Dubai often stop at visuals. We carry the design into production documents, venue submissions and the site plan. LED screens and lighting are specified with power loads calculated for the organizer power order. Graphics are prepress checked for resolution and color before printing. Counters, storage and demo areas are positioned where staff can actually use them during a busy show day.

After handover we stay reachable through the show. Dismantling follows the official breakdown days. Material is cleared, and anything marked for reuse is packed for storage. That is how a Dubai stand becomes a Riyadh or Doha stand next quarter without starting from zero.

Questions

How much does an exhibition stand cost in Dubai?+

Size, structure, finishes and AV set the price. A compact modular stand costs less per show than a large custom island with meeting rooms and a video wall. Venue power, rigging and furniture add to the total. Send the event name, plot size and open sides and we return an itemized quote so you can remove what you do not need. Our cost guide explains each driver in more detail.

Are you an exhibition stand contractor or a builder in Dubai?+

Both. As a contractor we coordinate design, approvals, production, logistics and installation. As builders we fabricate the structure, graphics and displays. You deal with one project lead from the brief to dismantling.

How early should we book exhibition stand contractors in Dubai?+

Six to eight weeks before move-in for a custom stand up to 50 sqm. Eight to twelve weeks for large or island stands. Twelve to sixteen for double decks. Modular and rental stands can work in three to four weeks. For GITEX Global (8 to 11 Dec 2026), Gulfood and Big 5 (23 to 26 Nov 2026), add time because workshops and build-up slots fill early.

Do you handle DWTC approval and Expo City paperwork?+

Yes. We prepare contractor registration, stand drawings, structural details where needed and the electrical order, then follow them through with the organizer. Requirements change per event, so we work from your show manual.

Do you offer exhibition booth rental in Dubai?+

Yes. Rental suits one-off exhibitors and market tests. We fit a modular system with your graphics, lighting and furniture, install at DWTC or Expo City and remove it after the show.

Do you build double-decker stands in Dubai?+

Yes, where plot size, venue rules and structural approval allow. Double decks need early planning because the organizer reviews structure separately. Tell us at the brief stage and we confirm feasibility before design starts.

Can you supply AV, lighting and graphics with the stand?+

Yes. LED walls, screens, sound, lighting design, large-format prints and fabric frames are quoted with the build. Power loads are calculated for the venue order and playback is tested before handover.

Can our Dubai stand move to Riyadh or Doha?+

Often yes. We check size compatibility with the next plot, refresh graphics and arrange road freight and storage. Designing joints and panel sizes for reuse from the start keeps the second build cost down.

What do you need to start a 3D design?+

Event name and venue, stand number or dimensions, number of open sides, brand files, product details and a rough budget range. The organizer floor plan and exhibitor manual help us fix height limits and rules early.

Do international exhibitors manage the project remotely?+

Yes. Briefs, design reviews and approvals run online. Our team handles local production and installation in Dubai and shares build photos before handover, so no site visit is needed before the show.

Tell us the event, the city and the stand size. We reply with the next steps and a proposal.
